I love how you tested out all the materials. I have a suggestion for an added test. Squishing and Squashing. The package could end up on the bottom of a heavy pile and that will stress out all the packaging materials.
Thank you Calder for the great video. I use recycled boxes (free) from the grocery stores and just paper for wrapping, but definitely interested in the honeycomb and peanuts. I don't ship a ton of things but the price is holding me back. Did you find a retailer that is cheaper than the others for these materials? Thanks!
That is so nice! I also started of with recycled boxes from the grocery store :) The materials are indeed a bit expensive, but I do feel like it's worth it to be sure the ceramics survive the trip. I have linked the materials in the description, so you can have a look at the exact costs there.
Wonderful and helpful! Your English is so so good! But i had to laugh when you said it was made of mice instead of rice. Haha mice are little animals. It made me laugh.
Nice overview of more packaging options. Thanks Calder!
This came at the perfect time for me! I was just looking into eco friendly shipping material!
I hope you found the video helpful :))

Thank you so much!! Hahahh I said 'mais' which is the Dutch word for 'corn', I sure hope they don't make packaging out of mice😳
@@caldervanandel ah of course! Silly me!
So, I have had an impact ;o) Yippee.
🙃
If you use the corn you don't need that much of paper
As you can see I'm still testing it out, and when it comes to very fragile ceramics I'd rather be safe than sorry and use a bit more paper.
